Friday, July 14 CAMPFIRE NIGHT
 
 ROTTERDAM JUNCTION— The Schenectady County Historical Society will host a campfire night at 7 p.m. on July 14 at Ma-bee Farm Historic Site, 1100 Main St. Share ghost stories and other local tall tales and have s’mores and drinks. FREE FAMILY LUNCH

SUMMER POND DISCOVERY PROGRAM
 
 GANSEVOORT — Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park will offer a summer pond discovery program at 10:30 a.m. on July 14 at Delegan Pond, 80 Scout Road. Participants can use the dip nets provided to search for pond life, including frogs, salamanders, tadpoles, crayfish, and aquatic insects. Registration is required. SUMMER NATURE WALK
 
 GANSEVOORT — Saratoga PLAN and Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park will offer a summer nature walk at 9 a.m. on July 14 at Saratoga PLAN’s Orra Phelps Preserve, 145 Parkhurst Rd #85. The walk will be led by Environmental Education and Conservation interns. Registration is strongly encouraged but walk-ins are welcome. Walks may be canceled due to inclement weather. BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY, WINTER COAT DRIVE
 
 MECHANICVILLE — The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center is organizing a Back to School supply and winter coat drive until July 31.Donated items needed are: winter coats (Child SM-Adult XL), erasers, #2 pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes/pouches, ballpoint pens (black/blue), glue sticks, composition notebooks, 3- and 5-subject notebooks, plastic folders, dividers, markers, dry erase markers, crayons, colored pencils, highlighters, sticky notes, paper (graphing, wide ruled, college ruled), rulers, tissue/wipes, hand sanitizer, headphones, scissors, scientific calculator, geometry compass, protractor, backpacks and lunch boxes. CAPTURING FLOWERS CLASSES
 
 BALLSTON SPA — The Saratoga County History Center will offer “Capturing Flowers” classes at 4 p.m. on July 14 and at 10 a.m. on July 15 with nature and fine arts photographer David Waite in the gardens of Brookside Museum, 21 Fairground Ave. The same material will be presented in both classes. Emphasis will be on the use of DSLR cameras, but phone camera users are welcome. Registration is preferred with a suggested donation of $5 per person. CITIZENS BAND TO HOST FREE CONCERT
 
 JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Citizens Band will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on July 14 at the Charles Jenner Memorial Band Shell in the park on Main Street. The 35 member band, directed by Noel Wing, includes musicians from the Capital District. Open to the public. Bring your own lawn chair. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1 N. Market St.
 
WIGGLY WANDERERS
 
 G A N S EV O O RT — Moreau Lake State Park will offer a Wiggly Wanderers drop-in program at 9:30 a.m. on July 14 at the park, 605 Old Saratoga Road.
 
 The program is for walking toddlers, carriable babies and their caregivers. No strollers.

COHOES CLASS OF 1963 TO HOST REUNION

LIBRARY TO HOST POETRY PROGRAM
 
 GALWAY — Galway Public Library, 2112 East St., will host its program, Poems We Love, on July 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.. Poetry lovers are invited to gather and read aloud favorite, previously published, poems. The group will be facilitated by Galway resident and poet Susan Dufel.
 
 Suitable for adults, teens, and youth (under 12 who are good listeners are welcome with an adult), this program is designed for participation, but listeners are always welcome!
