Marca Rose Peterson

 
Clifton Park - Marca Rose Peterson, 54, of New Netherland Way and formerly of London, England, Florida, California, Boston and New York City, died suddenly Monday, February 12, 2018.
 
Born in Utica, she was the daughter of Linda Greenlees Peterson of Rexford, NY and the late Eric E. Peterson. She was educated in Baldwinsville schools and was a graduate of Pine Manor College in Boston.
 
Marca had been the CEO of Lux Loanz in Miami before leaving to return to New York last year. Prior to that, she was employed in the international banking field. She had served as Vice Chairman of Republicans Abroad and was founder and president of London Security Traders Association. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and volunteering with various service agencies.
 
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Steven Gallagher (Diane) of Wilmington, NC; a sister, Lisa Pallone (Joseph) of Clifton Park; her nephew, William Frank of Clifton Park; as well as her cousin, James Clearwater of Seattle, WA. She is predeceased by her feline companions, Madison and Lexington. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford. Interment will be in Mexico, NY in the spring.
 
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 3 to 6 p.m.
