| BRIEF Saratoga County Fair kicks off Tuesday The Saratoga County Fair kicks off Tuesday and runs through Sunday, July 23, at the Saratoga Fairgrounds in Ballston Spa. Thrill seekers can experience spectacular rides such as the Rock n Roll, the Pharaoh’s Fury and the Giant Gondola Wheel. Elsewhere, there will be a petting zoo and a variety of competitions including a Lego building contest, pie-, donut- and pizza-eating competitions, a talent show, pageant and more. Throughout the week there will also be tractor pulls, animal shows, cooking demonstrations and more. Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday–Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
